The 11th World Travel Fair (Shanghai) Successfully Closed

Initiated by Shanghai Tourism Administration and VNU Exhibitions Europe, organized by Shanghai International Conference Management Organization and VNU Exhibitions Asia, the 11th?World Travel Fair (hereafter referred to as WTF) closed successfully on May 11th?in Shanghai Exhibition Center.
The number of exhibitors and the exhibition area are both improved steadily this year. 570 exhibitors from more than 50 countries and regions attended WTF which covers an area of 15,000㎡, increased by 16.5% compared with the previous edition. It is worthy to mention that the on-site selling area is the most outstanding part with a growth of 24%.
During the exhibition, 7,948 professional visitors were received in World Travel Fair Professional and 38,300 visitors in World Tourism Carnival. Total transaction of tourism products, travel equipments and other relevant products achieved rmb18,016,000, increased by 33.7% based on the year 2013.
