BIC2014： Architectural Industrialization Era 3.0, Focus on Whole Life Cycle of Precast Building

To respond actively to the appeal from Shanghai municipal government and the central government to promote the architectural industrialization, learn and put into application leading ideas and technology from home and abroad, BIC 2014 is to be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center from October 14 to 16. An exhibition area of 8,000 m2 is ready to accommodate nearly 80 global leading enterprises. Around the theme of “orderly connection of AEC”, BIC 2014 shall present leading domestic and foreign ideas of industrial architectural design, relevant innovation structural system and production technology as well as efficient overall construction programs so as to build an international platform of display and technical exchange for the architectural industrialization chain and bring about new opportunities for the enterprises in the context of comprehensive transformation and upgrade of the construction industry. The 3-day event shall receive over 8, 000 professional visitors from architectural design units, building developing units, relevant industrial associations, colleges and universities.
Industrialization is the inevitable trend of the construction industry. On the one hand, from the central to local, governments at all levels are gradually enhancing the policy guidance; on the other hand, market-oriented, building developers and construction companies are promoting proactively the architectural industrialization. Given the fact that social environmental awareness increases, people have higher requirements for the building quality and the labor costs grow constantly, architectural industrialization shall spread around.
